The Rector who said some of the projects were sponsored by the federal government through the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETfund), added that the school management was able to complement the efforts of the TETFUND with the limited resources competing for attention within the coffers of the internally generated revenue.

"Despite the bottlenecks encountered in attracting development into the polytechnic, we as a management have not relented in our efforts to push and lobby for such infrastructural facilities to come the way of the polytechnic", he added.

He appealed to the members of the polytechnic to be principal stakeholders in the business of the administration of the institution. "Let us all at our individual and collective capacities ask not at all times for what the polytechnic would do for us but let us be concerned also with the value we shall add to the polytechnic", the rector said.

Leader of the Students Union Government (SUG), Comrade Adefemi Raji pledged the Union's continuous support for the administration of the Dzukogi-led administration, stressing that "we are impressed with the works so far done by our Rector, Dr Abubakar Abdul Dzukogi, and this is why we have always supported him."
